The AI Grid is an ambitious BMBF program for the promotion of young AI scientists. Young AI talents can network with other students and doctoral candidates in Europe and are accompanied by experienced mentors. In highly specialized micro-subject communities, they work together with researchers from academia and practice on AI solutions to concrete scientific problems. The application phase for interested master’s and doctoral students will start in early February 2023.
In addition to Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Wahlster (DFKI), Ute Bernhardt (BMBF), Dr. Tina Klüwer (K.I.E.Z. AI), Dr. Jack Thoms (BIFOLD) and Stefan Jazdzejewski (Software Campus), the AI Grid Executive Committee also includes Dr. Johannes Winter, Chief Strategy Officer of L3S (pictured on the right).
