Susana Castillo holds the position of Akademische Rätin at the Institute for Computer Graphics in TU Braunschweig (Germany) since 2020, where she first served as a Postdoc Research Associate.
She obtained her degree in computer engineering from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) in 2011, where she conducted research as a junior researcher in the Graphics and Imaging Lab. In 2019, she received her PhD in computer science while working with the Department for Graphical Systems at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg (Germany).
Her research interests lie in the creation of immersive extended realities through the intersection of computer graphics, computer vision, machine learning, and a more integrated approach to psychology within computer science.
