The L3S Research Center is providing support to the start-up project KIMIA, which is developing innovative solutions for social media management and personalised content creation using AI. KIMIA was recently awarded the EXIST-Gründungsstipendium by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Actionand aims to leverage generative AI to make managing social media platforms and personalised AI content creation more efficient, time-saving, and cost-effective for businesses and content creators.
In the rapidly evolving field of social media, businesses face challenges stemming from large volumes of data, diverse platforms, and competitive digital marketing landscapes. For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), marketing agencies, and content creators, these challenges often lead to increased resource demands. KIMIA addresses these issues by developing AI-powered tools that automate tasks such as content creation, campaign planning, and audience engagement. The tools aim to streamline workflows, lower costs, and improve the relevance and quality of social media content.
The KIMIA team includes Nasir Soltani, Ali R. Nico, Mandeep Rathee, and Libin Kurian, professionals with expertise in product management, user research and marketing, data science, and software engineering. The team has been joined by Kritika Bodkhe, and Lorans Albrezat, who bring additional skills in UI/UX design and IT. The project commenced on 1 November under the EXIST scholarship programme and will run for one year.
As part of the EXIST programme, KIMIA receives support from the L3S Research Center, which provides mentorship, office space, and access to its facilities. This collaboration enables the KIMIA team to benefit from the academic expertise and resources available at L3S.
