Prof. Eirini Ntoutsi studied Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Patras/Greece and received her PhD in Data Mining from the University of Piraeus/Greece in 2008. She then worked as a post-doc at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich in the group of Prof. H.-P. Kriegel, where she joined in 2010 as a post-doctoral fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. From 2016 to 2021, Eirini Ntoutsi was an associate professor of Intelligent Systems at Leibniz Universität Hannover and continues to be a member of the L3S Research Center there. Prior to her appointment at the Universität der Bundeswehr München, she was Professor of Artificial Intelligence at Freie Universität Berlin (FUB) from 2021 to 2022.
