Dr Daniel Kudenko, research group leader at L3S and managing director of DAISEC, has been appointed a member of the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS). The aim of ELLIS is to strengthen Europe’s sovereignty in modern AI research. The members are committed to human-centred, beneficial and safe AI. The L3S is now represented at ELLIS with six members: In addition to Kudenko, L3S members Wolfgang Nejdl, Sören Auer, Marius Lindauer, Bodo Rosenhahn and Markus Magnor are also part of the network.
