L3S researchers publish new book

The book ‘Event Analytics across Languages and Communities’ was published with Springer Verlag. The editors include L3S researchers Dr Ivana Marenzi and Dr Simon Gottschalk. The publication provides an in-depth exploration of advanced event analysis in multilingual and multimodal contexts.

This book is a direct result of the interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral research conducted within the CLEOPATRA International Training Network over the last four years.

It focuses on technologies such as natural language processing, data mining and knowledge graphs that enable innovative approaches to understanding how major social events unfold online and influence communities worldwide. The interdisciplinary research presented in this volume provides valuable insights into the analysis and tracking of global events in the digital age.
