Prof. Hirche is currently a Junior Professor at the Institute for Information Processing at the University of Hannover. Previously he held researcher positions at the Technical University Munich, National University of Singapore and the University of Copenhagen. He obtained his PhD degree from the Autonomous University in Barcelona, after a Master and Bachelor degree in Physics at the University of Hannover.
