The National Academy of Science and Engineering (acatech) provides voluntary, independent, public-interest orientated political and social advice. At acatech’s General Assembly, 25 new scientists were selected to expand the circle of experts, including L3S member Prof Dr Sören Auer, Director of the TIB – Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology and Professor of Data Science and Digital Libraries at Leibniz Universität Hannover. He contributes his scientific expertise in the fields of knowledge graphs, data science and artificial intelligence.
