LUMEN
Linked User-driven Multidisciplinary Exploration Network
The LUMEN project is a pioneering initiative to transform cross-domain collaboration and discovery in Mathematics (Maths), Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH), Earth System (ES), and Molecular Dynamics (MD).
Building on the success of the GoTriple platform, widely used in the SSH community, LUMEN expands its capabilities to enhance interoperability across scientific disciplines. By developing interdisciplinary solutions, the project will streamline research discovery, simplify early research stages, and provide access to advanced AI-powered tools. LUMEN extends existing discovery platforms in SSH and Maths while creating new ones for other domains, reshaping EOSC services with innovative, customizable data discovery solutions. This approach attracts new users, fosters Open Science, and drives multidisciplinary cooperation through collaborative platforms. By integrating new scientific communities into EOSC and equipping them with essential tools, LUMEN aims to revolutionize research output creation, sharing, and utilization. Ultimately, it enhances scientific discovery, strengthens interdisciplinary collaboration, and promotes trust and innovation in European research.
