Leibniz Universität Hannover is hosting the first Artificial Intelligence Day on August 13, 2024. The L3S research center will be on site to present current research projects to visitors and discuss future topics. The AI and cybersecurity hub DAISEC and the Lower Saxony Center for AI and Causal Methods in Medicine, CAIMed, will also be represented. The aim of the event is to exchange ideas and network. Interested scientists and researchers, doctoral and postdoctoral students as well as faculty members and teaching staff are invited. The focus will be on the topics of basic research and the application of AI. The question of how AI can be used in teaching will also be addressed. A keynote speech by Alexander von Humboldt Professor Dr. Holger Hoos (RWTH Aachen University) will open the Artificial Intelligence Day. Keynote speeches and a panel discussion are planned. New research ideas will be discussed on this day. Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration can also be discovered.
The event will take place on August 13 at 14:00 in the atrium of the main building (Lichthof), Welfengarten 1. Registration is possible until August 7.
